I had the privilege of reviewing two of the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel shades, Birthday Suit, and Make Me Mauve.

Birthday Suit required about two coats for the color to really show up, and a third coat could even have been applied. The color is like a subtle nude, but I noticed after a few days that the color transitioned to a pale pink. I like that the brush is wide and flat, which makes it easier to apply. Make Me Mauve only required one coat. The color is the most perfect dusty rose/mauve. I applied one color to my fingernails, and I used the other color on my toes. After a week the toe polish has not chipped. My fingernails chipped a little after about a day or two.

I also received the Rimmel London Magnif’Eyes Eye Contouring Palette in Keep Calm and Wear Gold.

  • Eye contour palette with duo applicator.
  • A mix of high-shimmer and matte shades, perfect for sculpting, shading and defining
  • Rich, intense, long-lasting colour
  • Crease-proof. Smear-proof. Wears all day.

I was impressed with the color payoff, I did not press my finger into the shadows very hard and they are this pigmented. The shades also blend very well.

I recommend these products because they are great quality for a fair price!
