Miracle Revival Mud is a mineral-enriched mud mask that works to improve hydration, firmness, and skin clarity, revealing a more even skin tone and reduced surface shine. A special absorbing action helps unclog pores, deliver natural nourishment, eliminate dead skin cells and detoxify impurities. Skin feels comfortably refreshed, invigorated, and youthful.

The gentle exfoliation of surface layers refines skin texture and promotes the natural renewal process. It leaves the skin feeling soft, smooth and cleansed. Extensive studies have shown that this bioactive silt shows superior activity in comparison to Dead Sea Mud, Fango Mud and Moor Mud in increasing skin moisture, reduces sebum flow, increases cell turnover by 92% and leaving the skin feeling smooth and soft.

PEG-100 Stearate – may be contaminated with ETHYLENE OXIDE or 1,4-DIOXANE, which are possible human carcinogens.  http://www.ewg.org/skindeep/ingredient/721388/PEG-100_STEARATE/

Epigallocatechin Gallatyl Glucoside and Gallyl Glucoside- were not found on the website, and did not yield any results of the safety of the ingredient in personal care products when typed into Google.

Propyl Gallate and Phenoxyethanol – may cause skin irritation, and can be toxic if applied to the mouth/lips, so avoid this area http://www.ewg.org/skindeep/ingredient/705311/PROPYL_GALLATE/ http://www.ewg.org/skindeep/ingredient/704811/PHENOXYETHANOL/

Apply a generous layer to clean skin. After 15 minutes rinse off with water in circular motions to exfoliate. Use a maximum of twice per week.

The Miracle Revival Mud comes in a cool black and bright yellow/green box decorated with text. It was fun applying the thick mask to my face since it is a dark muddy color and consistency. During application. the mask began to feel like a whipped mouse consistency. I applied it on thick. After applying I began to feel a tingly sensation as if there were peppermint in the ingredients. It begins to harden as it dries toward the end of the 15 minutes, and makes your face somewhat stiff. When the time was up, it was difficult to wash off with just my hands, so I recommend using a washcloth to help with this process. I did not find that the mask had exfoliation properties; it remained smooth the entire time.

I used the mask before bed; the next morning my face still felt clean, it felt hydrated, and it felt firm and soft. The mud definitely had oil absorbing properties, as my face was free of oil as well.

  • Added moisture to my face
  • Made my skin feel firmer and softer
  • Did not leave my face feeling greasy
  • My face was clean and oil-free 10 hours after use

  • Wish I knew more about the two ingredients I was unable to research

I would recommend this Miracle Revival Mud mask to anyone looking for a beauty product that absorbs oil, and leaves skin feeling soft, firm, clean, and hydrated.

Sometimes getting clean requires getting a little dirty 😉

Have you ever used a mud mask?
