MY REVIEW

The scrub did need to be stirred before I used it; it was thick and you can definitely see and feel the large salt grains. I used a good amount on my skin and reapplied frequently because I wanted to deeply exfoliate my skin. I found that I used too much, so at first I recommend using a small amount then adding some as needed. Also, take off any jewelry you may have on before you use it, especially rings. The oils will coat the jewelry in a thick, sticky film. The sea salt exfoliated my skin well, and my skin was coated in a paste of oils and butters. It did not rinse off like other body washes/salt scrubs I am used to, so I put a dab of my regular body wash on a loofa and ran that over my skin before I got out of the shower. After drying off, my skin was so moisturized by the salt scrub’s ingredients that I did not even need to apply lotion..which is normally something I ALWAYS do!

PROS

  • Exfoliated dead skin
  • Hydrated skin
  • Natural and healthy ingredients
  • Did not need to use lotion afterwards
  • Cruelty Free

CONS

  • Left an oily/sticky film on the shower floor

I would definitely recommend this salt scrub to anyone who needs to regenerate their dry or tired skin, to buff away dead skin and add moisture to their skin with healthy ingredients!
