If you’re like me, you love makeup and dressing up. I love taking the time to carefully apply my makeup- whether its for heading out to work or for a night out with my husband. So, I was pretty excited when I was given the chance to try out these brushes and sponges. I chose to try the Aurora Fairy Sponges and the Ariel Magical Illusion brushes.
Now, I’ve always either used the flat sponges or my fingers to apply my concealer and base makeup. So, using the brushes was a whole new experience for me. I did feel a little awkward at first, but I know I’ll get used to them. I do love that I can build my coverage much better than I am able to do with my fingers or the flat sponges.
The Fairy Sponges are really great because with the pink one, I can get the coverage under my eyes and in the corners of my eyes/nose. The blue and green ones help me to get the right amount of coverage in the larger areas on my face. I love the variety of the three sponges, so that I can get the perfect coverage over my entire face instead of having to settle for either “too much” or “not enough” coverage.
These sponges and brushes make the perfect gift for any princess aged 12 or older. They’re the perfect stocking (or Easter basket) stuffer! You can purchase these products at your local Walgreens. I can’t wait to try out some of the other brushes….hopefully the Easter bunny can hear my wish!
