MY REVIEW

Lately I joined a makeup group on Facebook that hosts daily “makeup challenges” where you are asked to apply your makeup based on the day’s theme. Along with that, women share the products they use. Well needless to say, I have spent more money on makeup this month than I did all of last year! Of course I was excited to be given the opportunity to review Arbonne’s eyeshadow. I love the petal color since it is neutral and subtle. I also like that it has a matte finish. It stayed on my eyelids all day, and complemented my skin tone and outfit well. I also love that the company does not use animal ingredients in their products, and does not test their products on animals. Not to mention the eyeshadow is totally affordable compared to other big name brands, as it is $9.50 (admittedly I have paid $18 for eyeshadow before). You cannot ask for anything more than that out of a cosmetic product!

I definitely recommend Arbonne! The eyeshadow is great, and they have so many wearable colors. Also, of course I love supporting companies that do not test their products on animals!

About Katie Pierce

My name is Katie and I graduated from the University of Kansas in 2012 with a B.G.S. in the History of Art, and a minor in Applied Behavioral Science. Currently I am working as a substitute teacher from grades preK to 12th grade. This job is fun, but my favorite job is being a wife to my husband, Stephen, who is a Paramedic. On our days off we like to go on runs with our beautiful American Eskimo, cook together, venture off to local breweries, and personalize our new home. -Not all in one day though ;) You can visit my blog at http://www.diylifeaftercollege.com for some diy tutorials and recipes.
